I’m New

We know that attending a church for the first time can be a little bit scary. Below is just a snapshot of what you can expect when you join us on Sunday.

Parking
There are three designated guest parking spots on the north end of the concrete apron and three ADA accessible spots right in front of the building.

Dress
We are pretty casual- on any given Sunday you will see people wearing shorts and t-shirts, to suits and ties, and everything in between. We care about people, not how they are dressed!

Children
One of the most exciting and bustling areas in the church is our Children’s Ministry, ‘Joy Street’. All the excitement takes place upstairs-as soon as you get to the top of the stairs and see the carpet you will start to see the theme emerge. We love our kids and want to keep them safe, so we have a check-in system and only trained, background checked individuals are permitted beyond the check in point. Of course, we would love to show you around and answer any questions you might have! Just ask someone at the check-in for a tour and we will get someone to show you around immediately!

Service
So you have your kids checked in upstairs, now the scary part of what to expect in the Worship Service. ‘Will they single me out by making me stand up so everyone knows I am new? Will they bug me for my contact information so they can call, text, and email all kinds of information I don’t want?’ Not at all, we would love for you to fill out a Connect card, but we promise we will not fill your inbox or blow up your phone!

We preach from the Bible. We believe that the Bible is more than just a well written book, we believe that it is the Word of God and is applicable for life, not just thousands of years ago but also today. The message will be Biblically based but geared toward applying the information you hear to your life today.

Music
We sing mostly contemporary Christian music, with more traditional hymns mixed in. Sometimes we have a full band with guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard and sometimes it is just the keyboard or a variation in between.

As you leave, Pastor Kelly would love to meet you! He will be available after the service in the lobby to introduce himself to you.
