What is Nazarene Safe?
Nazarene Safe™ provides resources to equip local Churches of the Nazarene in creating safe environments for God’s family. We have partnered with MinistrySafe & Abuse Prevention Systems to implement training and policies.
What will you be doing?
To provide a safe and secure environment, we will be asking all our volunteers and employees to complete a screening process. This process includes watching training videos and filling out a release form, which includes submitting to a background check. We will then provide all volunteers and staff with practical and protective policies that they can implement while working with children and youth.
Who needs to complete the screening process?
All of our staff and volunteers have to complete a screening process. If you are over 18 years old and volunteer with nursery, children’s ministry, youth ministry, drive the van for children or youth events, or teach Sunday School to children and/or youth, you will need to complete the screening process.
Where can I receive a release form?
